Came here for breakfast with family. Those people are a machine! Got our breakfast real quick, and we weren't disappointed. Quaint little atmosphere here too, would definitely come again to try the barbecue!
Had a great lunch today at the Hickory House in Lancaster, TX. Moist brisket, delicious ham, and perfectly cooked turkey. I had the three meat plate with BBQ beans and green beans. If you are in the area, definitely make a pit stop for lunch or dinner!!
I’ve enjoyed this delicious food since I was a kid living in Lancaster. The breakfast is just as awesome as the bbq. The staff are always laid back and fast. It’s always clean and inviting. If you haven’t tried this hidden gem then you are missing out.
It was very good for the price. All the food is delicious. However, the brisket was not top-notch. It was not bad, but I can't say it was the best I've ever had.
This is a little family owned place that I personally heard about through coworkers and friends. So literally the next day I went off and walked around to corner to check it out. Was instantly greeted by one of the owners to the sight of a lot of good looking food at a low price! The other owner shortly came out afterwards and he has A SENSE OF HUMOR lol. I wasn't expecting it, but it really brightened up my cold cloudy day. I got the chicken fried steak, stuffed potato, pecan pie, and a stuffed bbq potato, and everything was so good I could've eaten it twice! Definitely want to return to check out the breakfast menu which is just as good, if not better, than the lunch menu. Great work guys and thank you!
